A Biophony™ Album

Lincoln Meadow, at Yuba Pass in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, is now remembered only by the enchanted sound on this recording. It was selectively logged in the late 80s. Even though to the eye, it looks untrammeled, the biophony has not recovered.

Birds: American dipper, red-winged blackbird, chipping sparrow, yellow warbler, willow flycatcher, American robin, mountain quail, Lincoln sparrow.
